Abstract Submission

The organizing committee of the 58th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japan Atherosclerosis Society encourages the submission of abstracts widely from abroad.
All abstracts submitted are peer-reviewed and selected for presentation by the organizing committee.

Abstract Submission Period

Wednesday, January 14, 2026 ~
Noon on Wednesday, February 25, 2026
  • Submissions, modifications, or deletions of abstracts will not be accepted after the deadline. Traffic to the submission system is expected to be heavy when close to the deadline, which may cause a delay in processing the submission of your abstract. We recommend submitting your abstract as early as possible.
  • Abstract contents submitted online may be modified until the deadline. Please note that you may not be able to make modifications right before the deadline due to heavy traffic.
  • Changes, such as adding or correcting names of co-authors, after the deadline will not be accepted. Please complete those corrections during the abstract submission period.

Grant for participants from overseas

This grant is open to researchers under 40 years of age at the time of the presentation (July 4-5, 2026) who are affiliated with an institution outside of Japan.
Based on a review of submitted abstracts, we will select up to 10 outstanding young researchers in the field of atherosclerosis. Each selected researcher will receive a grant of JPY 100,000.
The grant is intended for those who present in person at the venue. You will not be eligible to receive the grant if you do not participate in person.
To apply, please email your abstract registration number and a copy of your age verification document (e.g. passport, driver's license or ID card) to the address below.

Password Set-up, Submission, Confirmation and Modifications of Submitted Abstracts

  • When submitting an abstract for the first time, registrants will need to decide on an optional password.
  • After the submission of your abstract is complete, a registration number (10000 series) will be issued automatically. The submission process for the abstract is complete when this registration number is issued (a message confirming registration will be sent.). If the registration number do not appear on the screen, the submission is not complete.
  • Use confirmation/modification button to make corrections to the submitted abstract. You can modify and check the abstract as many times as you want by entering the registration number and your password until the submission period deadline. You may also delete your submission.
Note that if you click "Submit (登録)" button each time you wish to modify the contents, there will be duplicated submissions of the same abstract.
  • Registrants must keep a record of the registration number and password issued to them. We will not respond to inquiries about registration number or password to prevent browsing and misuse by third parties.

Registrants Using WEB mail (Gmail, Yahoo! mail and others)

There have been many cases where emails from the organizer or the secretariat have been sent to "spam mail" folders. If you believe that you have not received a message from us, check spam mail folder first. If you have "spam mail folder" in your web mail account, in addition to your mail software's spam mail folder, check that as well.

  • Submitted contents will be published in program and abstract book. In principle, the information will be used as is, without changes to the submitted data. Please check your data carefully before submission including misspells.
